Exhibition for the anniversary of the First World War

The historical museum of Trento, in memory of the first world war, organized an exhibition of the war photographs by Romano Cagnoni.
Trento’s area was a crucial zone for the out-coming of the war. In Italy everyone knows the popular song on the river Piave ( listen to the song, here).
The newspaper “L’Adige” published this page about the exhibition.
Romano Cagnoni told, in the interview, “the way to fight wars is totally changed, but the pain of civilians, the suffering and the hunger of defenseless people remained the same”.
